effort worthwhile...

I’d been looking to the mat and, still there had been nothing from the DWP; then Dad had needed more help. First there was the infection on his leg; then an issue with when a tetanus jab had taken place, or not… then, he became a tad forgetful and still I’m having issues with weight.

And, I am cheesed off that I can’t have the operation on my face I so need: it just means more infection and antibiotics, till… whenever…

Yet I can cope; doctor's helping. But, I had still needed some sort of closure from the dole and nothing from them, since the medical on the 31st May

Even though there was that taxi-driver I listened to, whose viewpoint was alternate to my way of thinking, it comes back with a vengeance, when I feel under stress.

For me, stress had been quite over whelming at present and, worrying about Dad is now thrown into the mix, as it were and, even half an Ensure drink and the thought of a bowl of soup, is difficult.

And, my ‘new’ camera arrived, courtesy of Karl, his pay pal account, my money and e-bay… It had arrived literally ‘ready to go’, so I do like it, so far…

Then at the weekend while Dad and I wished for rain for the lawn, it didn’t – but we had got a lot done in the garden and, come Sunday night I felt pleasantly shattered, as I wrote and planned my soup, for later…

Then, I got an email from Simon my advocate telling me everything was sorted. He had asked my MP's assistant for help, over the delay I've had and it seems he's as good as I had been assured --- because there had been a result and, in my favour.

Then come the Monday I’d got a letter from the DWP, clarifying that I had been shifted from one group to another and granted way more coin than I’d expected.

After a strange day, thanks to the letter I received, I'd been in a totally weird mood. So nothing that had happened, including my growing use of predictive text, while typing, is of little real surprise to me at all.

So, how come if you turn a series of the Spiderman the new animated series from .mkv to .avi you also turn it from American English to Russian?
I mean, I converted two episodes only, thank gawd... but, whatta strange one, eh?

And I still haven't got my head round my news and, I'd spoken with my advocate and on Thursday I’d watched the new Dolph Lundgren film with Mike. I went to play 'Larceny' {the evening’s movie} and, initially played Mikes new disc for him, while I'd faffed round my room.

I'd been playing it off the external burner, so when his disc, ['King King' 2005 and, the new King Kong] stopped playing after about seven minutes, I assumed it was the disc, or the player.
Then prior to settling down, I played the film on the machine I have Open Office on and, that only played 'King Kong' 2005 for a few minutes.

Much to my irritation, the same thing happened again, this time with the film I'd wanted to watch. Thankfully I do have the widescreen Dell, running windows codecs and so, I used that machine to watch the film.

And yes, thankful is right, as I'm fortunate to have these two good machines to use and, the little one for hard work. But, that's all down to my friend Karl...

Speaking of Karl, he had performed a minor miracle on my ‘old’ Dell, which had produced a green line on the bottom of the screen; an although it had taken weeks for him to recall to do it for me, he had.

That said, the new camera has proved problematic, as I’d expected… yet once again he has tried to be helpful, which means that maybe soon I’ll be able to access its memory card, as I want to. Recently I put a video on Youtube of me reading the Edward Lear poem, ‘The Pobble With No Toes’ and have a few versions of a poem, ‘Bunk Bed Blues’ on it… hence wanting access, to put onto Youtube.

And needless to say, the end of Game of Thrones series seven had given me the opportunity to make a disc, for someone who had missed an episode, yet knew the series was ending soon and… I’d do as I do. Well, when he’d got his disc just hours after the last episode had been broadcast, the expression of pleasure on the fellows face had made my efforts worthwhile.
